Would they actually make an expansion pack for a three year old game? and have it made by Crytek again?

I'm confused, anyone have any knowledge of this?

Far Cry 2 was a pleasent enough surprise, an expansion pack release for far cry 1 just before 2 comes out maybe?

I think that idea is dead in the water now (atleast for FC1 on PC).
