Just bought Far Cry from my local supermarket, after install and starting to play the game at certain points inside the caves/bunker and outside the top half of my screen splinters and looks like a shattered mirror.

Tearing I think its called ..

I have a P4 2Ghz 1Gb ddr and a Radeon X1650Pro 512mb card.

I have the latest drivers so what is the problem and how do I fix it ..

Have you patched the game yet? If not you should because it will most likely help with your graphics issues.

You will need to download and install these patches, in order, unless you want to just install the cumulative 1.4 patch. If you are not intending to play online then do not install 1.4 as it screws up a few things in single player. Namely, the enemy can see and shoot you thru some walls and buildings...not good.

However, if you want to play online you will need the 1.4 patch to join most servers.

Thanks , I installed the patch 1.4 that came with the game. But I uninstalled my drivers and reinstalled them and this worked.
