Hi, i have a problem. All of a sudden, my CD-Key is invalid ? I have bought an original copy of farcry.
Been trying for a long time. Says its invalid.

And when i could play, i had problems with my fps.
Everytime i turned against flag, my FPS dropped down to 20-30 and i normally have 200 fps.
And auto detect, detect graphics on low. But why ?

I have 8800GTS 320MB
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.67 E6700
Intel p965 mobo
2gb Kingston ram
But maybe its Vista ?
i have vista ultimate 64 bit

w3ll 1. Fc isnt officially supported on vista and def not vista 64 but it will still work. As stupid as this seems you probably are typing the code in wrong.. check your zeros and 8's and 6's or whatever. And you have an original game? Where is the cd key on your game?

i had XTv3 compatible with an old OS for some reason o.O

and therefore, my cd key was invalid lol..


but about the fps..

Im pretty sure its bcz of vista..
But its **** though.. spending 2500 euros on a computer with 30 fps when turning against flag and 300 fps when turining another way

The game has always been laggy (fps wise) when near the flags in my experience.

On very high with a q66 and a 88gtx i nvr get lower than 100fps.. with xp. With vista now thats another story. I personally would either go back to xp for the time being or play using a little bit lower settings
