I have played FC1 about a year ago, and was pretty much close to the end according to the amount of maps stated somewhere on the net. Then I had to clean my PC and Far Cry got deleted, and so did my saves. Since a few weeks I decided to play again, but I really want to continue from where I was. I don't want to play everything for the so many-th time.

I tried some cheats so I could skip every checkpoint, but it won't work.

Can anybody help me?

uhm... i think you may be posting on the wrong forum, this forum is for Far Cry 2 (which hasnt been released yet) not Far Cry 1
(and i dont know any cheats nor do i have save games from FC1)

Change your shortcut icon on your desktop to that.. just make sure you use the right chain of folders. Then use the F buttons to enable different cheats and to skip checkpoints.. also all the levels will be available then. Or you can just type in the level name in the console screen

Here is something useful : my Profiles folder. What's that? In this folder you have my savegames, the checkpoints of the whole campaign in realistic difficulty, but also of some single player maps and mods, in particularly Catalyst. I would have liked to put the savegames of all the SP maps, but unfortunately I had to uninstall some months ago and I lost the savegames of many custom SP maps.

How to install this? Unzip it and in the Far Cry directory replace the old Profiles folder by mine.
