Can someone explain me how do I play this game online? I have finished the game and when I wanted to play online it was connecting to ubi.com and that was it - it never got connected.

Is there something I need to update, do, install?
I have Far Cry game installed only. I have seen a lot of far cry maps for download - so, what should I need to play this awesome game online with the rest of the far cry fans?

You need to patch the game to play online. See the first sticky at the top of the forum.

It did the same thing to me. I closed out, went to UBI.com and registered then back into FarCry and was able to log on to the multiplayer np.

can someone please give me the url to where I can patch the game? The same thing is happening to me

If you havnt patched the game before download
far_cry_v1.4_cumulative.exe

If you have patched the game before, you will have to download the patches you havnt installed. (but do not download patch 1.2)

Regarding patches, are many people running the 64 bit version of Far Cry and stopping at patch 1.3 I think or are they going to the cumulative patch 1.4 and staying with the 32 bit?

I haven't been online with the game yet and was wondering if there was much online gaming with the 64-bit version.

You cannot go online with 64 bit content. There has never been a patch to allow online play with 64 bit Far Cry.

hello, i need help to play the game online...
i installed did regestration with ubisoft.now i want to play online and it trys to connect with ubisoft, but it stay trying to connect nothing more....

They ask for my cd key? Can anyone explain to me what that is?

Its found either on the back of your game manual or on a sticker on the CD case
Its usually in the format:

FCY-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Where the X's are other alpha numerics.

Yeah open your game Cd case and it shoud be in
the back it shoud have some nuber's and letter's

I tryed coying them to farcry and thin i retryed
logging in but i steel cant get in maby i did not do it right this is only about my 2st time

Don't bother copying the patches to the bin32 folder, apart from the fact that unnecessary files there can result in you getting banned from some servers, it is completely unnecessary, as they install fine from the desktop.

that's where thay went win i first clickd on
the file to download it. it said Run - save
so i click on save win it got downloaded it just went strayt to my pictures so what wood i
do to get past that?

Ok now i just figerd out how to get em installed
i did that it showd that i was loged in
but it said Cd key already in use!
im like what is it talking about
like how could my on Cd key be in use huh?

Ok i think i finey got it all figerd out
of how to play far cry online Thank god if i did
but its like u can only host are somein

From what i can tell some of thes patches
dont work i got 2 patches installed right now
had a nother but it messed up the 2 i now have
installed so i deleted it and reinstalled one
of the 2 i have and works fine i kind of wonder
if only one works at a time dont kno for sure
