Ah yes, the old push the flaming barrel with the mini gun trick. Never thought of how it looked like a post Cinco de Mayo disaster. Maybe that ape was snacking on a few too many red hot burritos in the mess hall. LOL

Yes, same exact thing happens to me (v1.4). I have the inflatable and I have the demo charge so I've not blown up the freighter yet - and it's gone! I don't think the net is climbable.

The net is climbable. At least, it is when the ship is there. I haven't tried it with the ship gone. I'm wondering if the ship is actually gone or just not drawn anymore. Do you still collide with it?

You avoided Crow in the helecopter without cheating? Maybe you drove that orange boat away real quick? If you can make it to the second island on the otherside from where you came and go into the garage with the jeep it will then make the big boat disappear, assuming you blew it up, and it will keep the final helecopter from shooting so you can take it out easy.

I know that the boat is not in place as the level begins. It is brought in when tower three blows. This is to prevent a player from going straight to the freighter at the beginning. In fact, if you do, you will find the AI in place, floating in air. You can easily pick them out and eliminate them, so when you return, you don't have to clear the freighter. But, that would be cheating a bit.

I'm pretty sure it was gone. I didn't experiment too much - the whole situation was very creepy.Smile

My plan was to blow up the ship, jump on the raft and sail it somewhere away from Crow. It actually worked once but I got killed - so the ship doesn't always disappear - some sequence of events does it.

So to reiterate, after destroying the third tower you should be able to pick up an inflatable raft (power boat won't work) from the previous island and then sail to the freighter (pick off the occupants first of course). Blow up the freighter, get back on the raft and sail somewhere "better" to fight Crow.
