I wish there was a better way to get the word out about the new map versions. I was just logging onto a server that was running Dune Night and was spit out because the level versions don't match. After that, of course, I get the irritating 'CD key in use!' message and I have to wait and wait for it to reset.

Maybe the admin is just lazy or oblivious. Nevertheless, it's very frustrating when folks like me who want the Far Cry community to thrive and stay fresh just can't seem to get a break when it comes to technical issues, even one as trivial as this.

Is anyone else having trouble with mp_shrouded TDM crashing servers?
we Downunder are, they be saying it crashes on it

As much as I'd like to tell you differently, two of the main reasons this map pack was created is because a) There isn't an autodownload feature in FC and b) a LOT of players never come on the forums or read the scrolling messages provided on many servers with a SSM. With the pack, people suddenly start getting kicked and then they start looking for reasons why.

@colmaca- You might have found a previously undiscovered bug. What is the map before mp_shrouded in the rotation?

well mp_cry on before it,but as i not play DM server"i'm a assualter"but we have a happy group of DM players over here
just i noticed that a few were saying that it was crashing on mp_shrouded
well no 1 replies they having trouble so i wait and see

Yes, keep an eye out for it and if it continually crashes on shrouded, take it out of the TDM rotation and let us know plz.

Sorry to hear ytou are having problems, could you be a little more specific when you say the map pack download is not working.

Where are you trying to download it from?

What error are you getting?

Assuming you are trying www.farcry-maps.com, I checked the link, it works for me. I checked error logs and didn't see anything unusal.
