I've completed Far Cry single player. Now I'm on to the multiplayer section. But I have seen that people can change classes and for instance build towers and houses. I just don't know how to change class. All help appreciated.

Its explained in your FarCry manual how to change classes. You want to select the engineer class and use the wrench to build stuff.
