Also make sure your shortcut looks like this EXACTLY:

"C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Crytek\Far Cry\Bin32\FarCry.exe" "-DEVMODE"

I think you just need to add a space before -devmode and put the whole word in quotes.

Thanks for that but no joy, I have copied, and pasted put a gap between the last " and - but still nothing this is really odd. It's still telling me "Access is Denied". I looked at the web page of you link even download a new devmode, nothing.Timm
