So basically I don't want to purchase the game if it isn't going to work on my system especially since most companies won't allow returns of open pc games which is totally dumb. All i'm worried about is my video card and processor b/c i kno i have the other requirements. My computer runs the Desperate Housewives game so I know my video card is equivalent to at least NVIDIA GeForce 3. In Device Manager when I drop down the processors drop down it says Intel Core 2 Duo @ 1.66GHz but it says it twice like it has two of them if that makes sense? So if it does have two processors at 1.66GHz then together they'd add up to 3.32GHz (which if i'm reading the requirements right should work); am I understanding this right? And my sticker on my laptop says Intel Centrino Duo if that helps. My video card is a NVIDIA Quadro NVS 120M. I just bought the computer July 2007 and it's a Dell. Any help greatly appreciated...I don't know too much about computers.

Well the processor is ok, it shows 2 of them because is a dual processor, 2 chips laid on top of each other, same as a quad core being 4 chips. but they still only work at 1.66GHz each.

As for the grapics card the specs says the minium supported is a high end Series 6 card, so a series 3 definately wont support it.
But it doesnt mean you should go and buy the cheapest series 6 card you can find though, I had an ATi X1650, thats mid-way in the supprted ATi cards listed so it should run it. It doesnt! My card which should be supported wont support the game!
I now have NVIDIA Series 8 card in mine and now it plays.

As for laptops, they say the laptop version of supported cards may not work.

So really its more about being lucky that the game supports your system cos even if you have components that the packaging says is supported half the time teh game wont run!

TBH the game doesnt last long, not even 6 hours. In a time where most game are 30 hours long this game was a great dissapointment. Half the voice actors arent even the actors from the show which really does ruin what little it has. The games isnt worth the money they ask for just download it off the net, play it for 6 hours, then say to yourself "Man I'm glad I listened to that guy, only 6 bloody hours of gameplay! And they think that ending will make me buy the sequel, ha hell no. Ubi suck!"

Not really because like mine and many other peoples' PC which checked all the boxes green, we still couldnt play the game.

I can tell you that an ATI X1650Pro card doesnt work but a Nvidia 8800GT card does. Both cards are said to be supported!
AMD Sempron 3400+ processor works
1GB of DDR2-533 RAM works
SB Audigy SE works most of the time.

It's a hit and miss situation with this game. That's all I can confirm, ppl would just say read the spec on the side of the box, but as i've said half of the things written on the box dont seem to be really supported.
