I just finished gettin the dynamite from the Black Rock, navigating back through the black smoke area without running, and made it back to the hatch area without getting blown up or eaten by the monster. But after the hatch scene loaded, my dynamite dissapeared! I tried to go back to the black rock and get some more, but there isn't any. I also didn't drop it anywhere along the way. Now I can't blow open the door to advance the game play.

Has anyone else had this problem on the X-box 360? I tried talking to the other survivors and replaying the episode, but it won't advance to the next level. I really don't want to have to start the whole game over. Any advice? I think my game has a glitch in it.

I had exactly the same problem, restarted the hotel level to try again, did everything right, got to the secret hatch,blew the door open, demagnetised the compass at the computer, loading screen came up, and it put me back to the start menu. When I went to last checkpoint, guess what, no dynamite and the hatch door was resealed. Tried four times,same thing happened. no scratches or marks on the disc, really peed off, gonna get rid of the game as its obviously faulty and i dont have the receipt anymore.
