I am having a strange problem with the PC version of Lost. When I start a new game, I can hear the sound for the opening video, but the screen is blank. If I ctrl+alt+delete and minimize the game, and then open the game back up, the video resumes where it left off and I can now see it working perfectly fine. However, when the second part begins with the eye opening and gameplay starting, the screen goes black again.

just a couple of questions.
what graphics card do you have? do you have the latest driver for your card? have you updated directx recently? |

burkish i notice you have a laptop card does it have its own dedicated memory or shared? as shared memory would cause problems as it is alot slower than dedicated.

Where would I find that information?
All I know is that I have 2046 MB of memory. I know this doesn't necissarily mean anything because things change from game to game, but I've never had an problems running Oblivion, Gothic 3, Supreme Commander, etc. Pretty much any game I've tried. |

go to run type in dxdiag and when the window comes up click save all information save the text file and paste the bit on the graphics device here and it should have all the info about your card and its memory.
