It is clear to me this game is not ment to run along side the tv series and has nothing to do with the time loop that exixts round the island.
The name 'Via Domus' means way home, so far everyone ive spoken to thinks this means way off the island, and the game actually makes you think that this is the case. Well my theory is that the entire game is about elliot trying to discover who he is and that every single bit of the game (not just the flashbacks) is leading to elloit remembering who he is and waking up!, getting back to reality. so 'Via Domus' isnt about getting off the island its about waking up and starting his real quest of getting off the island ie the second game. after all its a bit wierd how the compass and the boat are called the same and are key things that help him get back to the real world. im sorry if anyones thought of this but i think its a great theory. |
