Should I be spiining around at game start? it makes taking photo's impossible at first flashback...

I get the same thing, I can't stop spinning of the start and I can't control it. Did you figure out how to fix this at all?

I have the same problem. I thought it might be my mouse, but I'm not sure.

I just figured it out. I found another forum. It said unglug extra stuff like guitars and joysticks. I had a guitar hero guitar plugged in, I unplugged it and the game works fine.
