Does anyone know what the system requirements are for the Lost PC game? I can't seem to find this info anywhere. I want to be sure it's going to run okay on my shiny new Vista PC. On Amazon it says it's for XP but that's as informative as it gets. s
* Windows XP or Vista * 2.5GHz Core 2 Duo / Athlon 64 X (or 3.5GHz Pentium 4/Athlon) * 1GB of RAM (2GB recommended) * at least a 128MB DirectX 9.0c-compliant shader 3.0-enabled video card (256MB recommended) * 5 GB of hard disk space
The supported cards are
* ATI RADEON X1300-1950 / HD 2000 series, * nVidia Geforce 6600, 6800, 7xxx and 8xxx series.

I have ati x800 graphic card but it don't have 3.0 shader, can i play Lost video games ? Please, say me "yes" ! I live and i love Lost, i want buy this game but i'm not sure because i have a low config and a low money to buy a better computer. Thanks.
without shader 3.0 there is a 99% chance the game wont work however there is a slim chance some1 will make a hack to get round the 3.0 requirement but it is very unlikly as the 3.0 cards are quite cheap now if you dont go top end like you can get the bottom end geforce 8's for under £50 in the uk and they are shader 4.0.
so basicaly if you want to play this all you can do is buy a new graphics card if you meet the rest of the spec as it is very unlikly you will beable to get it to work.
Thanks for your replies re spec. I'm okay with everything except my processor is only 2.2GHz (Core 2 Duo). Hopefully the 2MB cache, 256MB GeForce card and the 2GB RAM will help compensate for this?
The Ghz recommendations in the system requirements are always just performance recommendations.
The game will run but you might wont be able to turn all graphic settings to high.
@Rafik
I remember this problem from the Bioshock release. Lots of people were angry when they found out that their powerful cards wont work with the game because they lack the shader 3.0 capability. (Me included)
I ended up buying a Nvidia 8800 GTS as i already expected that Bioshock was just the first of many games that will require shader 3.0.
Some people programmed a hack that enabled the game to run on shader 2.0 cards (with the drawback of certain unavoidable graphic errors).
Not certain that this will happen with LOST too ,but if its possible to do it, be sure that someone will find a way to get it working on shader 2.0 cards.

It's evaluates your computer and tell you if a game will play on it. It tells me that everything on my system is fine except for the graphics card. The card has 3 of the 5 features needed, but it does not have Video HW Transform & Lighting and does not have 3.0 Vertex Shader - I have 0.0. I have a Dell laptop. Is it going to be a problem to replace a video card in a laptop?

I am very upset. I looked several places today to find the game and I finally found it and when I got home and installed it it said my computer couldn't play it because my graphics card and shader weren't good enough. So I bought a new graphics card. Not enough, now I have to go buy a new power supply, all just to play one game. I bought it for pc because I don't have the fancy gaming systems, it shouldn't be this hard! The CSI games work on my computer, why can't this?Q!!!! Very angry with LOST and Ubisoft.
on the hardware checker it says that i have all of the minimum requirements and the recomended requirements, however during talking scenes their voices are faster than their movements, whereas the viodeos run perfectly, oh and this is on the lowest setting, what could be wrong??
