I have been having a lot of fun with this game, when it actually works. It has a lot of varying game play elements and as far as gameplay it exceeds my expectations. However, the game is full of bugs. I get a lot of random sound disappearance issues, random crashes to desktop and even got a blue screen, which I have never seen on this machine. I have gotten to a point, where I am to meet Jack at the Black Rock that it continues to crash. I can't get any further. Very frustrating! I have updated all of my drivers, and have been running other games and have not experienced any problems. I sure wish they would address some of these problems in a patch. Do any members of the development team read these forums? Many people seem to be having similar problems.

There are alot of things you can do to stabilize your computer. A good start would be to mem test your ram, I would also get another 1gb of ram as 2gb is the norm now.

Turn of any needless services. Go to control panel / administration tools / services.

Also run msconfig. i has a few good tools to use
