When setting-up my joystick via external settings software package that came with the game, I have no problms assigning keys, but when I try to set turn right or left and it asks me to move my joystick, the set-up software freezes-up!

The maiin reason I got this game is because I got this cool joystick!

I have installed both patches available to me.....................Help.

I have a similar problem in that the game does not recognise when i push the stick forward or pull it back. When i run the settings wizard it registers it as button 13 or 17 not stick up or down or X axis. My joystick is Logitech force 3D pro.
The patches say this stick was tested but....
it works fine in other games

I to am having the same problems with my logtech extreem 3D pro. It would be nice to play this game with a joystick wouldnt it

First, make sure you download and install both patches. Then when you are changing your settings, make sure that your trottle control is in the middle position before you try to assign a selected joystick key. I have the same Logitech joystick and am able to Pitch Up (joy button 13) and Pitch Down (joy button 14). Remember to save before you leave the settings. By the way, there is also a new version (5.02) of Logitech joystick software for Wingman Profiler.
