I do not care for sims when it comes to games with planes like Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 3: Battle for Europe or Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004, those are two flight sim games that I have played for a very short time and did not like as they were not fun. I guess I did not like them as they are too techinical. I really like games with as realistic as possible graphics, but I do not like flight sims where the only way to play is if you really know how to fly a plane.
So my question is like my title of this post.........Is this game more like an arcade shooter or a flight sim?

You also really need to go through these forums. You can clearly see that the game has many many problems, it's a straight console port, there is NO support, and , except for a few die hards, the game is dead.

You really shouldn't even consider buying this game for the PC. If you have an XBOX 360 you might want to have a look at thier angel forums and see what they have to say.

You have been warned--DO NOT buy this game!

Is Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 3 that sim? I know BA is more of arcade and I have no problem with that but how 'real' is Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 3? I am kinda the opposite from the original. I like the sim more than arcade when it comes to WWII but if it is a space shooter then I don't care. Arcade style is still fun for BA but I just can't stand the chase cam thingy and I have to play in cockpit view.... thank god for the patch for that. =)

[If the Rainbow6 novel is like the game it would end in Chapter14 with a female voice saying "Mission failed. A hostage was killed"...]
