The plane flies in circles and dives down. I have been trying to land the damaged plane for two weeks to no avail. Can some one help by telling me the secret to land this thing or even how to bypass this scenario?

I am no expert on the missions as I do my best to get through them. You need to use both sticks to get the plane to travel to the north of the field. Then a sweeping left turn (a long one) to line up as best you can and get the gear down. This took me some time after time to get it right. Once you land watch the screen it tells you which buttons to hit to change planes.

Thank you for the tip. I will try anything to get on with the game. I was given a tip about landing earlier and it helped. Just need to remember to hit the right number when on the ground.
