just got the game today and i can not get past this level. The 172nd division keeps dying no matter how fast i kill the bombers that are attacking them. i need to know is i have to target somewhere else or what. please help

I don't know about you guys, but I freakin' hate it when a game such as this starts out to be fairly good, with a moderate amount of added challenge as the first few missions progress along, and then all of a sudden you would think you were playing one of the HARDEST, MOST FRUSTRATING MISSIONS EVER IGNORANTLY CONCEIVED IN ANY GAME EVER, with no help from ANYONE or ANYTHING ELSE IN THE ENTIRE GAME! I'm sorry , but I believe in a game GRADUALLY increasing in difficulty as you go through it...not just dropping insane amounts of **** on you all at once and out of nowhere! I think Sony should watch out for game companies that develop these kinds of games that, for the most part, just make the Playstation 3 system look bad. They've had enough issues with shortages and such without one of the launch titles making things seem worse for those of us fortunate to have gotten a PS3 to begin with. For anyone thinking of buying Blazing Angels I give you this advice. Take your hard earned 60 bucks, go out with your friends, take a helicopter ride, go to the zoo...ANYTHING...just don't waste it on this game!

I had a tough time with this level. (Wait till you get to "Top Secret") The trick for me was to change planes. I used the Beaufighter. It's slower so it was easier to use against the bombers. Keep an I on the status indicators for each of the 3 divisions to know where you need to concentrate your efforts.
