I am having huge problems trying to take pictures of these stupid bases in N. Africa. I fly as level and slow as possible towards them but I don't even get a camera interface displayed on my screen. I have been flying around this goddam desert for 2 hours now and am about to throw this game right in the trash. Can someone please help me figure out this bloody camera? There are also two green meters on the right hand side and the manual won't even tell me what the hell they are for. Does anyone know? PLEASE HELP!!!!!

alright I'm on the same level but i cant land the damn thing. To find the bases all you have to do is just follow the yellow meter till both are at the top.

Alright kiddies heres whatcha gotta do. First and foremost, do not fly this mission in cockpit view unless you like crashing into the first sand dune that pops up every single time you fly inland. It is infinitely easier to do this mission in 3rd person.
The two green bars are there to tell you if you are going in the right direction. the fuller they get, the more on target you are. For getting in good with the cam I suggest coming in high and then throwing on the brakes and diving at your target. try and get the pics as quickly as possible or you will be shot down and have to do the whole thing over again. I hated this mission aswell but not nearly as much as I hate the B17 bombing run and the top secret mission. If you think you wanna throw away your game on the Africa mission then I suggest you do it before you reach these other missions and end up throwing your ps3 through a wall. |

No problems taking pics...I just get no green bars to find the bases with, or any HUD for that matter until I find the base on my own and my camara reticle pops up. I cant be the only one with this prob on the Xbox. I have nothing visual to tell me where the bases are.

On the XBOX you must listen to the radio chatter to determine if you are getting close or flying away. The louder and clearer the voices get the closer you are. Then it is time to press the follow button (left trigger) and the camera range finder will pop-up. I fly with left trigger pressed all the time and as soon I get within range, presto! there it is, Remember to click down on the right thumb stick and keep it down until the green bar reaches the top (you will hear a camera shutter go off), and on tothe next objective.

This mission is a joke, I too am ready to throw it away because of this and where in the world are these bars indicating you are getting close?
I don't think they are on Xbox 360. |

Went back and took a look, there is no meter in 360. You are just endlessly flying around listening to radio chatter in a light brown screen until you crash. What in the world is the point of this level? No gyroscope, no altitude meter, no radar; this is beyond stupid. I tried the left trigger camera activator trick suggested by someone; no luck there.
I see some of you suggested if this level is bad; then the secret mission will send us to the nutty bin, WOW!!! I can't imagine anything more stupid or frustrating than this desert deal. I suppose if the phrases spoken by the Germans are the meter it would not be impossible in the end to find them; but if the sand storm isn't lifter when you get to these mysterious photo points, how in the world would you ever take a picture. This level is about as bad as EA's support team; wonder what Ubisoft's support is like. |

If you buzz around enough I think that the bars just pop up, they di with me.
