Sorry for the newbee question. When I flew a hang-glider I did it with more balls than brains. Now I'm an incomplete c-4-5 quadriplegic. Incomplete means I have some use of my arms and even a little finger function. I'm using Blazing Angels on Xbox 360 as therapy. The game is helping me maximize the function I have left.

That said, there are some levels on Blazing Angels that I just can't get past. It would be useful if the game would let me skip missions or start over as a new player but it wont.

As a next best solution I'm trying to turn on "GOD" mode. The direction I found said "Pause the game, then key in XYYX while holding down the left trigger. Finish up by holding down the right trigger and key in YXXY". A message is supposed to flash on the screen, indicating success.

I can't get the message or the GOD mode. I suspect the problem is that I'm not pausing properly. I pause the game by pressing the "start" button.

My question is three fold. First is entering GOD mode the best way to skip problem levels? Second, is there a better way to pause the game? Finally has any one else got this GOD mode "cheat" to work on Blazing Angels?
