It looks like a Spitfire or a Hurricane. I've come across people using this plane when playing on-line and am wondering how you get it. It doens't show up in my list of selectable planes. I've "unlocked the veteran skin" -whatever that means- and I still don't see it. What gives?

I believe it is the Seafire. It has 3 stripes on each wing and a british emblem on top side of the wing. The plane also has 2 white stripes on the tail. That is the ACE style paint. The Vetran has the same markings but adds a checkerboard around the nose... Hope that helps you out...

The "Splitfire V" also has 3 stripes on the wings closer to the body... And 3 stripes on the tail. with the Ace pain. The veteran adds the checker board on the nose again. The Seafire's stripes are out near the wing tips. The dual engine "DH Mosquito" also has the 3 stripes on the wings and tail. The wing ones start right at the body and go out from there (Ace) and the Veteran adds the checkerboard to the nose again.

To change your paint scheeme go into the player stats option off the main menu. Then Hanger and when you select a plane to bring up the stat screen you can push right or left to scroll the paint scheemes..(change skin)

Hope that helps...

I think they are the only 3 planes with 3 stripes on the wings,,, All 3 are Great Britain planes... With eAce or Veteran paint

Mosquito in Blazing Angels? Played the game through and through and never come across the wooden wonder (mossie). The plane your looking for is probably the spitfire. It could be the tempest or typhoon but their not really to good for online dogfighting. To get the "d-day" stripes on your spitfire, just defeat the spits on the ace duels. Then when you win you unlock their skin (one being the d-day markings). To make these skins used on your planes when you fly its simple, just go to the screen with medals, hanger etc etc. Look at the planes that you have unlocked and then you will see the option to change paint scheme (if you have unlocked it in ace match).

Hope this helps. Need anymore help then let me know.

Defective disk? I have blazing angels on xbox and the xbox 360 and have pretty much done everything possible on them (just a few mini campaigns to do) and i've never come across the de havilland mosquito!! infact thinking of it the only planes with more than one engine that i can think of from memory on the game are the B17 and the german ME110 and the AI flown HE111. (not including jets). So exactly where is the mosquito supposed to be then? Because i'll damned if i can find it. Cheers

The Mosquito is only available on the PS3 version. You get this plane with the "Preemptive Strike" mission.

The plane LandJet is looking for is the Spitfire Mk. V with Ace Paint.

I've seen you are talking about the Ace paint and the Veteran Paint, I know I can have the ace paint by winning the Ace once I unlock the plane (I'm doing that), but I don't know how to unock the Veteran Paint, I musdt say I still haven't finished the Campaign, and I'm playing the Wii version (I don't know if it matters) Thanks

I believe you unlock the Veteran paint schemes at around 975 online kills. I was between 950 and 1000 when I unlocked it.

I had completed the Main Campaigns and the Mini campaigns at that point but I'm not sure if that was a factor or not.

I finally have about 1000 kills, and still I don't have the veteran paints, I guess I still have to finish the game (I think I only need one more mission)
