You're right -- the final move is different. I'm not certain, but I'd say the move in Seirawan's book is the correct one.
Keep in mind that small mistakes like this happen frequently in books, etc. However, that's not to say that mistakes are acceptable... |

Chessbase, chess.about.com and chesslab also have the 'Seirawan version' of the game.
But maybe they all got it from the same (?false?) source and chessmaster database is right |

Interesting coincidence I was reading that book and looked through that game yesterday aswell. I couldn't figure out how to load 'famous games' into the analysis functions so I ended up downloading from chessgames.com. Wasn't very helpful for me, a bit too basic. He likes to call material 'force' and label it the Sierawan method for this reason.

Trying to analyze one of the Famous Games can be done, but it's not as easy as I thought it should be...
1. Go to 'Famous Games', and load the game of your choice. 2. Go to Training Mode. 3. Once in Training mode, go to the Edit menu, and choose 'Copy Game From', and then choose 'Famous Games'. 4. Select 'Game Analysis' from the Mentor menu. The tricky part is going into Training Mode. You have to use the Shortcut icon on the bottom left (click on the up arrow) to get there. Otherwise, you won't be able to complete Step 3. |
