When I use the Setup-Position option under Play, I cannot use the menus at the top of the window. I can't, for example, pull down 'preferences' and select a chess board. What is the problem?

Yes, I've noticed this in a couple of the screens of Chessmaster Grandmaster Edition. It's an annoyance, but I don't know if it could really be classified as a bug.

Fortunately, there's a way around this:

1. Click the cancel button on the 'Set Up Board Position' menu.
2. Go to the Preferences menu and select your chess set and/or board.
3. Go to the Game menu, and select 'Set Up Position'.

You'll now be back to where you started.
