Dear Chessmaster Helpdesk.

I have been playing chessmaster grandmaster edition with enourmous pleasure on the train every morning and every evening. I am not a very good chessplayer, but I am learning thanks to the excellent game facilities.

I found 2 problems which I would like to raise:
1. Ratings: I played this morning a game, which I could not finish, so I adjourned the game. I reloaded the game this evening, continued playing and I lost! I had an ELO rating of 1044. Chessmaster told me that my rating would be decreased with 10 points. But contrary to what I noticed, my rating was DECREASED to 888!

2. I run Chessmaster also on Vista. When I am in a TRAINING session, I can pop-up the shortcut menu several times. I mean, normally on XP, only ONE shortcut menu can be displayed a time. But in Vista, the menu pops-up as many times i press the right button of my mouse. I noticed that in a RANKED play, this does NOT happen! Strange.

Yes, many people have noticed problems with ratings. There are several previous posts concerning this.

I've noticed the same thing with the shortcut menus... it happens in a few other areas as well. It's more of an oddity than a bug. My guess is that it happens on Windows XP as well.

I've searched on Tech Support of UBISOFT, but I couldn't find the game Chessmaster Grandmaster Edition registered. The last version of the game I could find was Chessmaster 10.

And, concerning the pop-up menus, it only happens on VISTA. On XP (which I run as well), I cannot simulate these errors.
