After a shaky start Topalov made a strong comeback and is now sharing first place with Carlsen and Shirov. Half point behind are Dominguez and Wang Yue. After last year's high, Ivanchuk is lately in a hole. At least he takes it easy and was seen in the park playing chess with fans late into the night. That guy is just soo unpredictable that you never know what he is going to do. In last Grand Prix in Nalchik he refused to talk in English at the press conferences (he later changed his policy in the last 3 or 4 rounds), but here his mood doesn't seem to be afected by his poor results. But it could all change very quickly.
His coleagues don't say without a reason that he lives on planet Ivanchuk
