Her personality profile says she'll never hang a piece and the key is deep thinking on her.
I swear I've tried about 25 times today to beat her (30/min total clocks) and fail every time. I'm looking at combos 4-5 ahead and she foils everything with the BEST move each time. I decide to make her play the Chessmaster (1:00 clock) vs her (5/3 fischer) in training and she hangs her queen to a knight fork on the 10th move. What the hell?! I saw about 10 better moves where she could've moved her queen. What's the secret? -sm. |

Ok, upon further investigation...I tried to copy the Chessmaster's moves with the same opening against Lacey and she executes ALL the exact same moves in my chosen opening. She even blunders her queen to me in the above mentioned fork!
If I play the exact same opening and moves again vs Lacey, she plays the exact moves again and blunders her queen AGAIN! So my question is - are blunders pre-programmed into the personalities based on position? I read somewhere that Lacey's STRENGTH rating is 100 (= Grandmasters) and her randomness of moves is 0 (but a queen blunder is pretty random no?). Of course her DEPTH is 0 as described in her personality. I base those numbers of what I read here: http://www.squidoo.com/groups/Chessmasterguys So is Lacey basically one of the hardest Personalities unless u memorize her blunder positions? |
