Here are 10 games played at slow time control (40 moves in 2 hours , 20 moves in 1 hour , after move 60 all moves in 30 minutes) between Fritz 10 and chessmater grandmaster edition hand played on 2 different computers. As I could not find 2 computers with exactly the same processor speed , Chessmaster used the Computer with a 2 GHZ processor and Fritz 10 used the Computer with 1.4 GHZ. Fritz 10 is the same program that beat Former Human World Champion Kramnik . Chessmaster won 4 games to 3 with 3 draws. The level of play is obviously beyond human analysis .The strength of Chessmaster is beyond belief.
In one of the games Chessmaster forced resignation in a mere 46 moves with Fritz searching at this slow time control an average of 17 plys deep on every move!! I believe no man or machine in the World is capable of doing this to Fritz at the 40 moves in 2 hour time control. CHESSMASTER is a Phenomenon.During this 10 game match Chessmaster was way ahead for most of the match and it was only towards the end that Fritz 10 was able to catch up a little ( while still losing the Match).In the 4 games that chessmaster won , it looks as though an experienced player is giving a rank amatuer a lesson.It is really sad that some people are under the illusion that the chessbase programs are stronger than Chessmaster , nothing could be further than the truth.CHESSMASTER is the strongest chess player in history ( man or machine) Here are the games

Don't get me wrong, I prefer Chessmaster over Fritz, but I find this a bit difficult to believe.

You didn't mention if the processors you used were single/dual core. If they were dual core, that might explain it; Chessmaster Grandmaster Edition is multi-processor, while Fritz 10 is not. I also noticed that you ran Chessmaster on the faster processor...

Frankly, both Chessmaster and Fritz are very strong; I struggle when playing either one
