When i go to Academy-Chessmaster series-Beginner-Drills.
I choose a drill, let's say knight fork drill. There are 10 positions that i have to get right. However all of them are exactly the same, the first position just keeps repeating.
Also in Advanced, there is no sound whatsoever.
Now i've messaged Ubisoft Technical Support, and apparently not the smartest person answered. he said - "the issue you are having is related to general gameplay hints and tips that is either covered in the manual".-???

Did you get the recent update? My CM always checks for an update, and found one a week or so ago.

I was having the same problems with the drill. I noticed a lot of drill files were updated, so I tried the Mate in 2 drill, Queen to move. It gave me 10 distinct problems, all working fine. I didn't try the other drills however.

Yes, this is a known issue with the drills (along with the freezing issue)... some of them seem to be okay; and sometimes they repeat.

By the way, there are only two updates for Chessmaster Grandmaster Edition (1.01 and 1.02)... the latest being released in December 2007.

Sadly, Ubisoft Technical Support isn't much help when it comes to reporting bugs... I've tried reporting bugs myself, and received the same "This is a gameplay issue" response.
