The skins by willy_297 downloaded from http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/760105752/m/2301092423 do not work on Chessmaster Grandmaster edition. They are seen in window for skin choice but upon selecting for these new choices, the game receives an error and shuts down. And also thes other skins: USER CREATED SKINS

GM KNIGHT my skins are both compatible like i have said i have dropped the file "menu 3D" for less size but for cmXI u need to replace the file for applying on cmXI maybe i 'll send the menu 3d file for more user friendly with them.

no I have not and the post on it was not too clear, sorry

ok isse what is your problem
go to
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Chessmaster Grandmaster Edition\Data\Skin
then look in cheesmaster and nature folder in the folder anim room theres a folder call menu3D
COPY this in the animroom folder of my skins
and yure done.
i haven't renamed them so u can't use at the same time my skins and original "nature and chessmaster" skins so u can also made like that
extract manually the nature folder and nature.ini files in the skin folder
when winrar prompt to be replaced choose yes to all and ure done.idem for other skin.
so i 'll update them for more user friendly indeed.

U must copy to the desktop the whole folder called "skin" so if u make a mistake u can take back
And check the cmX forum ebultaljib have added the 2D boards matching my skins
