I´m new to chess and I´ve bought the game last week.

In my last 2 of 3 games I had this bug. I cannot move my figure, which I want to move.

example:




I am white here. I cannot move the bishop on c4. I can move any other figure, but not the bishop (c4).
I have saved the game, too - if someone wants/needs it.

I wanted move Bc4 to c6.

Bishop is pinned to your king by the black rook. You can't put your king under attack.


P.S.: Bishop can't move from c4 to c6 (in one move) under any circumstances

hehe - I was just so confused that I cannot move the bishop - can I setup a notification for situations like that?.


another quick question: I also own the NDS version and I got a big notification like "check" and "checkmate". The PC version does nothing.

Go to "Preferences--Sounds". Under "Piece movement" tab select either "Spoken move announcement" or "Thematic sounds". Under "Voice" tab check all options.

thank you - only problem is sound overlaping, because the computer moves immediately
