Does anyone know of a decent chess programme for an apple ipod?

Are you sure you don't mean iPhone? I thought an iPod was a glorified MP3 player...

Thanks. I have an Apple iPod touch and find that the chess games onthe Apple Store site are rubbish compared with Chessmaster. I just wondered if UBI had thought about launching a mini version?

Probably not... while I've heard that a new version for the Macintosh was being worked on, it's been over a year and there's been no news. So I imagine that a iPhone version is not in Ubisoft's current plans, either.

Thanks once again. UBI are a little slow with this as really all other Apple store programmes are rubbish compared with ChessMaster. When and if a programme is released then I would be interested.
