In case you wonder why Ivanchuk vs. Dominguez was a draw, here is the explanation:

"The sporting gesture of the round was the draw Ivanchuk gave to Dominguez. Both players were very short on time and Ivanchuk on several occasions knocked the pieces over accidentally. Dominguez, displaying a sportsmanlike attitude, put the pieces back on his own time despite risking a loss. The Ukrainian, in the end, rewarded his opponent with a draw despite having a decisive advantage."

Take a look at those pictures from the past Linares tournaments. Young Ivanchuk, young Vishy, young Shirov, Kamsky the geek, first mustache Svidler, and Weird Al Kramnikovich Veryhappy

Actually, had it not been for the caption, I wouldn't have recognized Anand... he's put on a few pounds since turning 21 (I've had the same misfortune).

Someone should find Kramnik's barber and thank him for cutting his hair! Smile

And what a transformation Kamsky made - he looked so geeky in his "first chess career".

What happened to his glasses? They look too thick to compensate with lences. Did he have somekind of eye surgery that drastically improved his eyesight or what?

I can't find the regulations on the official site, but I think the first tie-break criteria is number of wins. In that case Grischuk won the tournament.

Tie-breaks are in following order:
1) Head to head
2) Number of wins
3) Score against opponents who scored 50% or more.

Grischuk and Ivanchuk have drawn both games against each other, but Grischuk wins on 2nd tie-break with 3-2.

Radjabov, Wang and Aronian all scored 6.5/14 but in their three-way head-to-head Radjabov scored 2.5 points, Wang Yue scored 2 points and Aronian 1.5 points.
