I think it's time for UbiSoft to release an updated version of Chessmaster for the Mac. Version 9 is nice but full of bugs and does not have all the latest features. Many people are switching to Apple and you don't want to give the opportunity to a competitor to beat you to it.

This forum is going to suck the big one if we don't get updates soon. This forum seems to be abandoned already. Either take it down if you don't have any information or put some some screenshots like others have been suggesting. How about a release date? Anything?

Amazon.com are saying retail release date of 19th of October. Ubisoft are not saying anything. Normally i would pre-buy a much anticipated title such as this (particularly so because 10th ed was such a milestone) but because there is no information from Ubisoft i think i will wait. So far it would appear to be little more than 10th ed with orange graphics.

i feel cheated....im gonna bring back my copy of CMGM tomorrow at once!!

i have CM 10th edition, but wasnt able to play online....i thought the CM GM edition would be fixed for windows vista, but get same error report! err 50 or something like that...

totally user soppurt unfriendly...I gonna get my money back, and not bother anymore about this CM series....

If you expect to just install this game and play a quick online game (just like I did), DONT BUY IT!!!

Marsiozo, did you installed the patch? I think you didn't. Don't lose more time and update your CMGM version, please.

the game is not supposed to autoupdate when u launch it?

Yes, there is an autoupdate, but you can cancel it if you don't want to install this. More than that, if you don't have the original CMXI, you can't install the patch.

please post a fix to get back animated 3d chessets back to menu list cause Grandmaster Edition Service Pack 1 has removed them from list

How do you get back all of the animated 3d sets to come back cause so called service pack sp1 when I installed caused them not to be listed under animated 3d in select chess set menu

SERVICE PACK 1 is unnofficial and for 3D chess set it's because it can be only 108 at a time so u need to choose.
