Does anyone know whether this software can be used to set up company tournaments, I have a company with offices around the US and would like to set up tournaments for employees. Can the software be installed on a server and then employees can login with their computers, if not, does anyone know how to set this up without everyone in the company having to buy and install the software on their computers.

The short answer is 'No'...

You can play chess games with others via a LAN. These games can be private, or global (where others can watch and comment), or simultaneous exhibitions (one person playing several others at the same time). Tournaments are not part of this.

Also, playing over a LAN requires that everyone involved have Chessmaster installed locally.
