I was wondering if there was any plan to make Chessmaster available on other platforms (such as the Mac or Playstation 3). I loved playing Chessmaster but once my PC died I replaced it with a Mac--now, unfortunately, I am unable to play at all.
The latest version of Chessmaster is available on three platforms:
Sony PSP (The Art of Learning)
Nintendo DS (The Art of Learning)
PC (Grandmaster Edition)
Over a year ago, I was told by a developer on the Chessmaster team that there were plans to port Chessmaster Grandmaster Edition to the Mac -- since that time, I've heard no more about it.
The latest version available for Macintosh is Chessmaster 9000; you can buy it at Amazon.com for $39.99 USD.

Thank you for the response. I look forward to seeing the newer ones come out for the Mac. (I have a couple versions for the PC and would prefer not to take a step back to an earlier version (9000) when going to Mac.)
I second that. It would be nice if Ubi would commit to saying when they are bringing out a new Mac version, rather than keeping customers waiting with rumours of 'possibly, maybe'. Very disappointed about the non-Mac support.
