I can't enable bump mapping in board settings (I've tried with different chess sets).
AMD Athlon 64 4000+
GeForce 7800GT Sli
2 gb RAM
Win XP
How can I fix this problem?

You might need to adjust your card settings via the Nvidia Control Panel...

Also, make sure you have the latest drivers... you can download them from http://www.nvidia.com.

After I posted my original response, I tried to get this working, as I also have an NVIDIA card with the latest drivers. No matter what, I couldn't seem to get this working...

Seems like I can't enable bump mapping either, but I could have sworn that I could do it when the game came out

No luck after installing the Nvidia beta drivers that were just released...

Same here. Last drivers, everything... Doesn't work. By the way, what is this feature for?

It's supposed to be for animated board transitions (while loading a new set) and reflections...
