Hi, sorry if this is a dead horse, but I get this error everytime I try to connect to the online servers. Is there a thread or forum somewhere that fixes this bug. I went to UBI and made a user account, however I never got to enter my game code on the back of the manual and am not sure how to enter that. Could that be the problem? Thanks.

You can have an Ubi account, but you'll never be able to connect to the servers if you don't enter the code from the back of the manual.
However, it sounds like you're having network problems. If you have firewall or anti-virus software, that is most likely the problem.

You need the following ports open: TCP 668, 40000 – 42999; and UDP 41006, 44000, 45000, 45001, 17110.

I suppose you could also disable your ani-virus/firewall software, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Also, make sure that you have all the patches installed. The latest version is 1.2.0. You can tell what you have by going to the Help menu, and selecting About Chessmaster.
