How do you castle in CM? I have searched the manual and read it page for page looking for this info but I can't find anything on it.

Thank you.

Well, there's no special option for it on the menus, if that's what you're asking.

Just move your King two squares to the right (for castling Kingside) or two squares to the left (for castling Queenside). If everything is okay and you're not in check, or passing though a square where you could be in check, Chessmaster will recognize what you want to do and complete the move.

For an explaination on Castling from Chessmaster Grandmaster, select Help at the top of the board. Select Chess Glossary, click on the index tab and type in castling. A brief explaination will appear with the rules and priciples of castling queenside and kingside.

The second way you can get information from the game explaining how to castle, and the rules involved, is through the learning section of the game. Select Learn, Academy, Chessmaster Series, Beginning Tutorials, Basic chess Concepts, Castling and the lesson will walk you through how to do this during a game. Wink

I hope this will help you. The Tutorials and lessons are very informative and I do suggest you take the time to go through them.
