I cannot find a command to force the computer opponent to play the next best move it analyzed. I like to see alternate moves and the best I can do is switch sides, take back the played move, play the new move, switch sides, take back the played move and then play the move I wanted to make. There should be an easier way. Also, I'd like to see the analysis of the 2nd, 3rd best lines analyzed but the analyzer won't stop and they go off the screen.
I've seen "next best move" command in another program somewhere. does anyone know where it exists? thanks |

The only things you can force the computer personality to do are:
1. Quit thinking and make a move (Actions Menu ->Force Move) 2. Start thinking again. Certain actions, such as taking back a move, will cause the personality to stop thinking. You can force the personality to start thinking by selecting 'Wake Up!' from the Actions menu. If you want to play "what if" scenarios, you can use the Memo Board. It's a copy of the chessboard, and lets you play both White and Black. You can access this via the Windows menu. You can read more about Memo Board on Page 22 of the user's manual. Hope this helps! |
