I received the following dialogue when statring up cm 11: FrownChessmaster Grand Master has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. What is going on now ? Wazzup

I also tried to trace problem and it led me to file: CustomGUI.dll in my Chessmaster Grand Edition directory and there is nothing I can do about it, so I left file alone. Here is my screenshot link of error Indifferent please help Sad

well, somethings I can think of:

1)be sure to download the patch.
2)if you have XP, make sure you have SP2,
3)be sure to update your graphics card drivers (and check if CM11 supports them -you can get that information from the read me file)
4)shut down (not only disable, literally shut down) all your anti-virus, computer security etc. programs.
5)uninstall CM11 completely and install it again.
6)if your computer is multiprocessor, change the processor on which CM runs on, and try again.

Thanks, I uninstalled/ reinstalled it and cold boot that is all left (antivirus alone was not the problem)
