i noticed about a month ago that when i was winning games online that i wasn't get a rating increase. i thought maybe because i was on a losing steak & my losses outnumbered my wins. that's not the case. i went on a big winning streak & still no rating increase. yet when i lose a game my rating is adjusted. i called ubisoft & reported the problem but they said they're unaware of it. personally i don't think they know how to god damn fix it so they decided to stroke me on the phone. they told me to come to the forums & see if other people were having this problem & it turns out they were. i posted a response to somebody elses forum but decided to make my own. i know that there are a bunch of us having this issue. so let's fill up my forum &/or keep calling ubisoft until they fix this retarded bug. thanks & i'll c u online.

Several of us have reported this to Ubisoft -- however, posting here isn't going to help, as no developers from Ubisoft visit this forum on a regular basis....

Many people have already confirmed the existence of this issue; so why do we need your evidence?

True, you mentioned this issue first. However, jeffjacob1978 also replied to your original post.

jeffjacob1978 is under the impression that bugs will get fixed faster if there are more posts in the forum; that simply isn't true... and even if it were, his recent langauge and demeanor do not help the situation.

If your saying that ubisoft developers do not read these forums you aint got nothing to be proud of it. You act as if your a member of the ubi team.
In EA( Electronic Arts) the Electronic Arts developing team always reads what people say that's why year by year there are improvements to the game. For example in Fifa 07 goal keepers didn't get booked yellow or red card in 08 u get booked. You can control the goal keeper in fifa 08 but u can't in 07. What a big improvement and that's thanks to the fact that EA team read peoples statesments.
If your saying that ubi don't give a damn about forums statements then that's piss on the pants. That is discredit to ubi that's why chessmaster grandmaster edition has no difference at all with 10th edition. Reason why I bought the GM edition was because I did not have an original 10th edition copy so I thought ok then I will buy the GM edition to play online.
And if they don't read these forums its even WORSE!! because abusive people and flooders will get away with it and won't get banned from the forums.

No, I'm not an Ubisoft employee (neither was Ebutaljib)... I'm just someone who enjoys Chessmaster and all things chess.

I don't know why Ubisoft developers don't read this forum -- it would definitely help them find and fix issues, and it would be good for customer relations.

But they don't, and life goes on. Despite some bugs, I still think Chessmaster Grandmaster Edition is one of the best chess programs out there (personally, I like it better than Fritz).

As far as handling flooders, spammers, and abusive people, that's what Ebutaljib did. And unfortunately, he decided it wasn't worth the hassle.

A new moderator will be chosen soon, I am told...

Since when did Game devs ever police the Ubi forums?
That's what the moderators and Forum Managers normally do.
As for whether or not anyone from Ubi reads the forums, well that's another part of the Forum Managers job, but whether the people they pass things on to do anything about it is dealt with by another department, then corporate bureaucracy takes over.........
