Why does mate in two only take one move to solve? Should there not be two moves?

Hmm... from what I can tell, it's still mate in two; but you can only make the first move. Perhaps it's by design that you can only make the first move for mate in two?

They're finite.

I don't know of any "puzzle generators"; but I'm sure there are several puzzle sites on the internet.
