You can use memories from any might and magic game or any heroes game including King's bounty. I'll go first.

It was awesome in Might and Magic 6 when I went into the temple of Baa to fight all the skeletons and barely made it out alive thanks to my ring of fire spell!

Or how about in heroes 2 in the evil campaign where there was a necro mission and they gave you legions of peasants to fight

The HoMM II campaign difficulty is insane at times, but it's definately something worth remembering. Especially this part with the peasants, yes.
Might & Magic VI, Castle Kriegspire - I felt like a hero when I managed to kill all of those minotaurs, which appear when you enter the central arena-like hall. It was hell of a fight, with retreats, counter-attacks... but in the end - all dead. Another battle, though very irritating and difficult, which made me feel proud of my patience , was for the obelisk in Dragonsand and generally against this entire dragon swarm in the area - in the end of each attack (with tons of Meteor Shower and Starburst) almost all of the items in the group were broken...
Heh, I have nice memories from 1:1 games on HoMM III, mainly from scenarios on random maps, but that's another story.

Well it's the best place to talk about might and magic rpg. Plenty of vets.

Tunnel to Eofol in Might and Magic VII. I and a friend spent two days trying to get through them, running from Ancient Behomoths, catching them in places where they couldn't reach us, ran like hell if we saw a bunch of Medusas, ran in circles five times straight before realising where we went... Generally the first time through was great we were learning English as we played (even had to check in the dictionary when talking to peasants), the world was huge, immerse and fantastic in every way and pretty quickly even our real life games were based on MM in some ways

We were around 10 years old back then I think and we got our PCs at the same time

Yes those medusas got me my first time in those tunnels!

Now at days, of course, it's just invisibility on, evading the monsters and running all the way through the tunnels... Takes less time but the horrors of the olden days were a lot more fun

For instance we both shouted, in real life, when we met Titans and my friend was shouting commands at me to get the hell out of that Stronghold. 2 persons survived the Stronghold, one was killed by the Wyverns and the fourth was in the red once we got back to town

Some other good ones were when we first arived in Avlee. We used hours on getting Wyverns to follow us back into town and have the guards kill them off. A few times we got too many Wyverns and the guards were butchered with the rest of the town

I played through might and magic 6,7 and 8 with my brother back in the late 90s. One of us controled the keyboard and the other the mouse. Those were the days.

I remember first getting the spell meteor shower and later starburst - it was monster genocide!

I remember doing the same thing in Avlee! the elven guards were half naked but they sure can fight.
There is also this instance in tatalia swamp where the trolls and town guard archers fight it out and you can pick up the remains when most of them have died.

We, I and a firend of mine, also used to share the keyboard and mouse usually after a bit of fighting over they keyboard, but most of the time we found a solution

I usually got killed by the trolls, so I ran like if a politician was after me in those areas

my finest moment was completing Might and Magic 2 on my C64, in the final run towards the end you met like 90 MegaDemons and 250 other enemies, and still you had a riddle to do at the end.

the first time in the tunnels to eofol in mm7, armagedon in MM8 and lots of dead peasants mm8 really was te best game to kill npcs, the titanfortress in mm7, first time i had just mastered invisibility and i kept bumbing in on those titans and had to run al the way to a safe spot, i know i really got quite immersed in that game the first time and my pc then was just barly able to run it

My most recent experience has been in World of Xeen, where after I found the secret city of Shandri-la, I proceeded to go below the city, only to face a single terminator that used a machine gun on my whole party, killing everyone except the fighters. The next turn the fighters died too. I then loaded, and ran past the terminator, only to run into a room full of them and sentry bots, which resulted in instant death.

Yes, that happenned to me also. I never went back even after I beat the game.

Yeah, last quests in Might and Magic VII. After killing Tolberti my team got a blaster and learned how to use it... I realised who exactly Ancients were... And going to the Colony Zod to realize that Kreegans aren't demons, but aliens... It was really nice, touching instant - sci-fi and fantasy were inosculating into one, great genre... Just like swallowing red pill in matrix...
And that awesome quest in Lincoln...
