Well I was going to be Memnoch (any Anne Rice fan should get that right away, and for the non-fans it means 'The Accuser' in arabic or hebrew) But since it was taken and I like the name Bob I took Bobaholic...
Now wasn't that fascinating Blink

I originally wanted a hero name from Heroes III. But I couldn't get one.

I'm never usually imaginative when making names on other forums so I usually rely on pictures to stimulate ideas. The one for BlackToast was Calh (as you can see) and the one for one of my accounts on another forum (Salty) was a comedy pirate.

So, using Calh for inspiration (and since I've always been a great Inferno fan) I thought, for some reason, of demonic cooking - a gog using a fireball to make toast and an imp making a cup of tea. I liked this rather British thinking so now I'm BlackToast.

LOL Too Happy

School is over... One year of freedom and after that it's Uni. 7 years of Uni and then work. 40 years of slavery which culminates in freedom... A few years of forgotten freedom, hidden away from the public eye and then death.- Only God knows what will happen after that.

Even though I think it's obvious - My name is Viktor and I am 86 years old. I'm the oldest living HOMM player and one of the elders in my village in Serbia. It took quite a while for me to start visiting forums and using the Net. I had some problems when I tried to get DSL Internet access because people thought that I was the devil ("Technology BAD!!! You bring BAD ju-ju to village!" *people ranting and raving with torches and pitchforks*) but in the end I convinced them that it wouldn't hurt their souls and livestock (actually I asid it was a device to communicate with God so they let me do it AND even brought me offerings as homage payments to God). So, now I can use the Net, people come to me on a regular basis, the local witch-doctor as well and we're just through sacrificing the 12th virgin this year (which is a village record...last was in 1957 when we sacrificed 11 by the end of june). Actually I don't know how we manage to get so many virgins nowadays considering it's hard to find them and it's quite a small village...who cares...as long as you have virgins you shouldn't care where they come from, right?

OK, now for the truth - My name is Viktor and I was born in 1886...OK, damn it! 1986!!! Are you happy?!

I use this nick because it is easy to remember - actually I use two or three usernames and passwords for all my accounts, I just keep making combinations from them. This way I never forget things... I don't like to be imaginative in usernames and such, rather in real-life. But I admire you guys sometimes - you actually take time to think out your nick (it actually is important because you use it over and over and people see it all the time). Sometimes people think I'm an unimaginative person just because I don't take the time to think up something cooler...

Cheers! AND I approve of this post!

Viktor K. (K. is from one of Kafka's novels...if you don't know which one, too bad - I'm not telling...and besides, my surname starts with K Wink)

Well, yeah - Kafka is simply great. If you haven't already (if you have - kudos), try to get a copy of his short stories. People usually judge him by the Process, although he has much better stories - like 'Metamorphosis' where the main character wakes up and realises that he has become a cockroach (albeit a human sized cockroach) - amazing...

Jozeph K. ( great - only K. and that's all)
"that is he who judges all"
i read what Kafka wanted to be a little beam of hope, that people could understand him, but before his death he only said that he confused through his labyrinthes...he thought what he didn't reach his purpose ( i misdoubt actually Roll Eyes)
kudos, dude Wink2

Well my nick is a finnish word(and yes it's the same country that won the eurovision song contest this year, LORDI!!!)anyway, it means hawk, not just any hawk, but a merlin, thats the name in American-english, "Falco columbarius" in Latin.
The way i got this nick is very simple, my buddies who play games use also bird-names, and i was kinda forced to take one too. Well just opened a "birdbook" from one page and there it was "Ampuhaukka". Name suits very well on action games, because the "Ampu" in the name is "shoot" in english, so thats quite funny accident too.

My nick came from Dark Reign 2, even though I started gaming far before that. Since I always prefered the Stelthy, Rogue, Sneaky, Assassin, and indirect approach in most games I had an opportunity to do that, I saw the name of a unit in that game that fit very well into those cathegories. It was the Infiltrator, and I immediatly felt how that was the perfect description for my style of play, even though people often miss-pronounc and miss-spell it.

Here's a pic of the Infiltrator on the left side:
