Well, finally. After all these years, all these pages, all these sorrows and all these joys... Ladies and gentlemen, we got it. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
So, I guess I should say this SPOILIERS AHEAD SpOiLeRs sPoIlErS SPOILERS SpOiLeRs sPoIlErS SPOILERS SpOiLeRs sPoIlErS SPOILERS SpOiLeRs sPoIlErS SPOILERS SpOiLeRs sPoIlErS SPOILERS SpOiLeRs sPoIlErS SPOILERS SpOiLeRs sPoIlErS SPOILERS SpOiLeRs sPoIlErS SPOILERS Well, actually I have some spoilers down here, in case you didn't notice, so proceed at your own risc. Well, not the most surprising of the books, except the two final battles with Voldemort and Abberforth's role, but even so it was a superb book in my opinion. I would have liked to give it 10, but due to it being a bit dull in the middle for soem 20 pages, the reuse of Ron's jealousy and all that, I'll only give it 9. I would however really like to know what jobs they all got. Nevil was quite predictable, but the others? Don't beleive they would want to become aurors after that, but what then? - And by the way, I got the first book in the Faroes  at 00:00:15 GMT, or something like that.

WOW. This was totaly crayzy (when I see on TV what happened near bookstores, in other countries where it was sold). The fastest sold book in history.

Not exactly what happened, and Rowling isn't likely to do anything like that.- She is among the richest folkes in the UK, doesn't lead a a Hollywood life and has said more than a few times that she'll take something between a 10 year and never ever again break. And the end is pretty deffinitiv

And let's not forget the royalties. Those books aren't just a one time thing. Even now the old books are still being sold. In 20 years they still will be sold new, still earning her some money. Even if she wasn't stinking rich, she would still make more per year from royalties than many a rock star could wish for.

I liked that snape got go explaied. That was the best part of the whole book. The ending was realy stupid, But then again its a childerns book. No go read som qualty like Lord Of The Rings. Ps the movie is alaso avrage. Let me go off topic and yet kinda stay on topic.
My sister is reading the book now, and she told me some of the things in it (yes, I like to be spoiled.) What I find really interesting here is how different the Harry in the movies is (only saw the first two though) and how different he is in the books. In the movies it's clear. Harry is clearly this talented boy who clearly has this huge wizard lurking inside him just waiting to get out. The books though... I could sometimes strangle him, or kick his ass. Since I can't decide, I don't do neither. In the books he is a self-centered boy that always needs the help of others to win the day. I mean, it's always Her.. he... however the girl is called, or Ron that helps Harry to the place where Harry can fumble things and get lucky and survive. I mean, I have read all the previous books and magic wise he still is pretty much this boy you met in the first book. He never truly trains, he never truly cares. No, he just wants to give up and needs others to convince him to go on. To be honest, I like the Harry Potter books, but not because of Harry, but because of this great world JK created (borrowed) where Harry just happens to be some character in. With the Harry from the movies, I'm impressed. With the Harry from the books... come on, if Ron and Her... what's her name weren't there Harry be dead ten times over by now. I pretty much agree, Harry is damned annoying. Had hoped he would have grown up in this book, but he is still the most annoying person in the books. The movies I wouldn't know too much about. Saw the first two in the cinema, was forced to look at the other two by friends (and fell asleep during the fourth).
As to the book being average, I don't think so. For a grown up it might be average compared to other fantasy books, but for a kids book it isn't. Closing the topic, fine. I'm here and must admit I think you folkes are acting a wee bit pathetically
 let us who like to read child books have them in peace, and read some toher books if you prefeer them.- For the reccord, Just the last 9 days I've read 5 books. Four of them fantasy if you count Harry Potter in there, and the rest of them "grown up" books. All of them are good, but each in it's own way. The other ones I like because of the complicated plot, universe and good writing. The Potter ones I like because of the simplicity and childish universe. A bit for everything.- The fifth book is by the way Max Weber on politics and economy  - And Dreamslayer, what's the point of that? I've nothing against the books or the films, I find them entertaining, what I do have a thing about is all the hype and media attention to them, I mean, some sad cases here were lining up to buy it two days before the release! dressed of course as their favourite charactors!
