Any one ever play these any more? just wondering because i've been playing Might and Magic sinse number 6 came out, and now that Ubisoft bought the rights to the games when 3DO went outa buisness allot more might and magic fans have appeared.
The MM games were way more popular some years ago. Half of the people I distantly know, under a seratin age ofcourrse , have palyed the MM games and talked about them back then... Now all they talk about, when they talk, was how great NWC was and how bad the new ones are
Oh, and I'm currently palying MM VI

i loved the games from mm1 through to 7, for some reason i cant get mm8 and 9 to load on my pc, maybe cause its xp i donno but if anyone knows of any patches about would be appreciated
I tried to replay the World of Xeen not to long ago. Must say, as much as it probably was the most fun game back then, I cant get past the graphics now. There goes my plans to revisit Cron lol.
The one I have replayed most (and most recently) is MM7, which imo is the best of the last batch. 6 was too big, 8 was too easy, and 9 was... well 9 was one of the greatest disapointments in my gaming life. Surpassed only by WOW I believe.
I've played Might and Magic 6: The Mandate of Heaven. Although some of the characters' faces look awfully freaky when they've been poisoned/diseased. It kinda put me off playing for a while, then I went back. Still freaked me out, and I've not played it since, October 2006!

But still a good game.
Try it when they're insane (in MM7 I s'pose). Quite fun, actually.
Might & Magic 6 to 8 were the best by far. Every few months I replay them and have completed them at least 50 times each. They made a mess of MM9 but hopefully they will correct it with MM10 (fingers crossed they make it)

atleast we hope so, and they are going to announce some surprise game this year they say, so... I don't think it'll be anothe Dark Messiah and don't see anyother way they can go with the MM brand. Then again, I didn't think of the DM possibility
