ye ah Iron Maiden!
they are called the modern Deep Purple btw, because the beginners of the rock, the DP band, now is pining away, but their music especially a bit older one, is still alive in people's eyes. that should had happen someday, but now they are happy "old codgers" seeing that someone can substitute them.

oh classic is awesome. once i've heard Bach's Toccata and Fugue d-moll - couldn't believe of the sound i hear..

Well I listen to: -Hard Rock(KoRn, Linkin Park, Orgy...etc.)
-Rap-Rock(311, Limp Bizkit, Cipress Hill... etc)
-Rap;Hip-Hop(Xzibit, Snoop Dog, Eminem)
-and other junk I hear on the TV and I like(mostly rock )

Unless it originates from a certain Mr Ice-T, I basically ignore or even actively dislike Hip Hop. ;-)

One more Maiden fan here. The first music I ever went out and purchased was Maiden. They will always be nr1 for me.

Otherwise Im a sucker for old style heavy, Priest, Sabbath, Manowar, Helloween etc.

Only modern stuff Im into falls within that whole goth/black/symphonic metal stuff... Nightwish is a fav of mine for example.
