I didn't know where else to ask so i thought i would here. I have followed both might and magic and heroes of might and magic for a very long time, and love both series. I was very pleased with the work you have done on Heroes, you have restored it to its former glory. I know you are working on the Dark Messiah, but i was wondering if you had any intention of restoring might and magic as well? I would love to see it back. Thank you in advance.

it's possible they are planning to continu the rpgs but no info has been given about this, but we have had some hints that they are looking into it.

I hope so, it was always my favorite series. My uncle has played it since it came out in the 80s lol!

They haven't made any direct promisses, but here is an statment from FCY some months ago that is probably the closest they can come to anouncing it without doing it:

Hehe, thx I have been a fan for a long time, started by playing the first heroes in 3rd grade, lol. Been playing that and might and magic since. I practicly cried when 3do went under because i thought there wouldn't be another might and magic game again, lol! Anywho, thx a lot =)

I startted when I was 10 or 11... MM VII was my first game Heroes II the next, and now I have won IV to VII, never got myself to beat IX, and Kings Bounty to IV

But I'm still thinking Might and MAgic seven is the best game... I and a friend were talking about it sunday and we realised that no matter how hard we tought about it the only bad things about VI and VII were that they were to short and that perhaps more chooses would be good

And that will hopefully be what we get from Ubi, and most deffinatly what we get from the fan made Might and Magic Tribute if you haven't found the tribute's site, then it is here: http://www.castlegobs.nl/forums/ and it is looking quite good

I too felt Might and Magic VII was the best one, although my uncle who has played all of them said that IV and V are the best, but thats his opinion hehe. I myself was severly disapointed in IX. It was terrible, 3DO would have been better off never releasing it the way they did. THey should have left it an unfinished product imo. Oh well, If Ubi makes Might and Magic X It better hold up to the standards of Might and Magic VI and VII

Yeah, it better will. Else they can't expect to make XI after the disapointment in IX, so I guess that is why they are searching so long for the right firm, hope they have found it now thoug would be best to announce it now when DM comes out and all the old fans will check the net for what it is...

But MMT will sertainly be like VI - VIII.- Else your uncle is right IV and V are brilliant! The only problem is that I got spoiled by the graphics and gameplay in VII and VI first, so it was a bit less... impressing for me...

But try the tech demo of MMT and download teir music they are really doing something there

And it will be free, for those who download, those who want it on CD or aren't able t odownload must pay shipment and stuff like that I think

I liked day of the destroyer having an unstopable army of 4 dragons (and a lame human) was great.

But a bit to easy perhaps

I've never played any MM games...

Personally I really hope they release a complete version with all 9 of them. That would be perfect for one like me.

If I was going to buy just one, which should it be? Not the best, necessarily...it'd also have to be one that works on XP.

Those from VI to VIII all work on XP, althoug you've got to tweek them a bit, but the new versions should work just fine if not then I can help you

VII is the best closely followed by VI, VIII is also a very good game while IX... I haven't even finished it yet

Don't even bother finishing IX, i didn't i was disgusted. I have played VII a couple of times, but not recently, i was thinking of reinstalling it and playing it through again =) VI was the first one i ever played, great game =) I shall be impatiently waiting to see what Ubisoft says about Might and Magic =)

I bought a set of six through nine a wile back on Amizon. Nine was the only one that worked on my pc I was so pissed. eight is my favorate.
